Multispace full length load space liner
#1
Well, I paid the deposit on a 2016 Multispace 1.6 BlueHDi XTR yesterday and hope to pick it up on Friday so I apologise in advance for asking what may appear to be loads of daft questions for advice/info on the beast.

First off, does anyone know if it is possible to get a full length load space floor liner, that is from back to the folded forward second row of seats?  The ones I have seen so far only seem to be made to fit the space behind the second row when the seats are in the normal position.

Many thanks.

What I use to line the booth is the rubber they use for roofs on houses, if you go to one of those companies they usually have offcuts in various thicknesses for cheap.
Maybe this can help you

There are loads for the van on eBay, maybe suitable and you can trim or split it to suit the car seat mounts...like below. If this is different for the 2016, just search your year on eBay.

I cut one (similar to the one in the pic in post above) from a length of ebay rubber "chequer-plate" treaded matting, a) its cheaper, b) I made holes so the seats could engage through it, c) I made cut-outs so that I could access the luggage tie-down loops. The rubber I bought had a chemical (solvent?) smell that lasted for weeks, but was OK after that.

I recognise that having all the holes and cut-outs can lead to dust and the like leaking through to the carpet, but if I'm carrying that sort of stuff I usually put a builders merchant "bulk bag" in the back.

Yeah I'm in the process of carpeting mine out using office carpet tiles in charcoal. I never usually put dirty stuff in the van but if I had to, I have heavy duty tarps from Screwfix that are £8 each to keep muck off the floor. Carpet tiles were £1.99 each and 10 will do the floor with another 10 needed to cover the side and rear ply panels.

I know what you mean with the rubber stuff, smells like coal to me.

Aldi currently have flat rubber boot liners (you cut to size yourself) in for about a fiver each. Maybe two, taped together with gaffa tape would work.

Yeah good call Jim, I saw them yesterday - 1200 x 800 so 2 would fit the entire van floor. Not bad for under £12 total!
