Does anyone know if the Navigation option on the 7" Touchscreen is inbuilt to all screens but not activated on some or whether it requires a different screen unit? Or maybe even software activated? I have the screen on our 2016 XTR but no Navigation option available. Also is the Citroen system subscription based?
I have tried using Google Maps via the Car Play feature but it is next to useless as when the vehicle lights are turned on (say in heavy rain or poor visibility) the screen reverts to dark mode - not a lot of good when driving during daylight!

There should be options in the menu to turn off dark mode

Cheers, Zion. Have just been having a play with Google Maps via CarPlay and there is an option to have the display in daylight mode continuously even with the lights turned on. Then tried it with Apple Maps and there is no such option so as soon as the lights go on the display goes to night mode and is unreadable in the daylight.
Will do a couple of trips to see if any good but may well revert to my trusty stand-alone Garmin satnav as I normally only use it for arrival time/distance & traffic.

Cool, Google maps is the best anyway lol. There are settings to determine if the actual car allows dark mode though, in your dash settings menu. That should over ride apple settings but not used apple stuff so not sure, I'm an android fanboy!

Also an Android fanboy but my Huawei phone does not support MirrorLink so I have had to resurrect my old iPhone SE to use CarPlay. I have set the dash settings to 'Daylight' which works with Google Maps but not with Apple Maps so not too worried about that app.

Brilliant, go android! If you have to use apple, figure out which wire tells the stereo the lights are on and cut it!
