Dodgy display and extra mileage

So i started my van this morning with 125k on the clock , the needles started acting funny battery light kept coming in and off and then the mileage when upto 190k ? Anyone any ideas cheers

I would start by doing basic checks on the electrics ie battery condition and age, alternator output and fan belt. Look for corroded cables and connections.
