Roof rail nuts

I've bought a new set of roof rail nuts from Citroen, but on receiving them I thought they would be 2-piece - they aren't but have a seal on the underside.

Anyone swapped them out or taken one off? I want to know what to expect before I try to remove my old ones (which are rusty inside the threads) so I can fit a roof rail set later when all this madness dies down. Surely they can't be push fit from above?

Hi Geoff, I don't but can post one later. I chucked the bag in the van a few days ago and haven't crossed the doorway in days now. I did look closer at the van ones already fitted and they must unscrew but when delivered they were so tight I couldn't separate them by hand so assumed they were one piece, which would make no sense. However the top part is totally smooth so how the hell do they tighten them...maybe an 8 x 1.25 bolt and a nut on it as a locker....till the bottom tightens up.
