Hi,
I have a 2015 1.6 HDI berlingo van and I have just been to fill up with diesel and I was not able to get the nozzle into the filler neck. The anti syphon flap would not open I did double check I was using the diesel pump and not the petrol pump.
Any idea's would be appreciated
Thanks Matt

I'm not 100% sure but I think some the nozzle on some pumps intended for diesel trucks are a little larger, can anyone confirm?
Matt

Mine doesn't always yield on the first attempt to insert the nozzle. I often have to take it back, and try again. Usually on the third attempt, the flap opens and in goes the pump nozzle. Never thought about it till you mentioned it.
Weird behaviour now I think about it. If there were positive pressure in the tank, I'd see why that could happen. Can't happen though.
Does the BSI detect the magnetic cap being removed to trigger the flap release?
