Hi,
I'm trying to find a replacement AC compressor for 2001 Berlingo, mines suffering with bearing failure and getting really noisy. I've looked all over the internet using car reg but they all seem different. The details on mine are Sanden SD6V12 Model 1431F
Anyone had to replace one of these and any ideas on compatible part numbers?
Thanks
Ed

You could try putting your VIN into catcar.info under the Citroen area of the site. From that you can get a part number which can be used to search online.

I found a really good Citroen Peugeot specialist, Martin Morgan in Torquay. I didn't want to spend loads of money on a replacement compressor, he had a quick look and was able to fit a shorter belt to bypass the AC compressor. Result! So I can confirm that you can bypass the ac compressor on a 2001 1.6 16v petrol engine Berlingo.
Martin also had a look to and found the pulley separately from the compressor in case I want to get the AC going again. Might look into it later, see how the little van gets on for now.
