Welcome.

I've always found that I get more steaming up on having the air set on recirculation than on having the air come in fresh from outside.
Now an ex Berlingo owner, I have a C4
2010 (B9) Berlingo Multispace XTR HDi 112 - Kyanos Blue
Previously - 2002 (M49) Berlingo Multispace 2.0 HDi Diesel - Arctic Steel

The moisture is just getting recirculated around the vehicle and is being added to by you each time you drive it as you breath it out constantly.

You need fresh air in the cabin otherwise you will always steam up.

If you have aircon switch it on, if not it will steam up if you have it on recirculate.

Here's a tip that works with any vehicle equipped with air conditioning -
set the A/C ON whatever the weather, sounds crazy if it is cold outside but the A/C will remove the moisture from the air before it gets to the heater which then of course warms it up as usual.
I recommend setting the heater to recirc. as the interior will heat up quicker.

Hope this helps. Happy Christmas All Confusedanta:
