This car has the SAGEM S2000 ECU.
For the last 3 days odometer is not updating, and speedo shows "0" at all speeds. Speedo responds normal to Actuator Test.
ECU error in Lexia: "no speed source configured" (or something to that effect).
Both worked ok before I was poking around in Lexia. I dont think I changed anything related to speed, but I may have done so unknowingly...
I've spent hours in Lexia trying to find a setting for speed source and get this fixed but found nothing.
Anyone know which button I pushed ??

Yes it has, but no ESP.
ABS has never worked (always had warning light on it) while I've had this car due to a faulty repair some of the previous owners had done.
They have replaced the rear left wheel bearing (hub) and managed to put in a wheel bub for ABS+ESP, this would have lit the ABS warning light but they just left it like that
The sensor ring on this ABS+ESP hub has 48 teeth (ABS has 29 teeth), and the ring has a smaller diameter and therefore its too far away from the ABS VR sensor
(about 5mm clearence) to generate any signal.
The schematic shows the speed sensor signal runs from sensor to the PSF, then to the ECU, and then presumably on the CAN to the BSI, and from there on CAN to the instr.panel. Alternate route may be on CAN between PSF and BSI, and to instr.panel.

Am not sure about the 1.4 but on the 2.0HDi & probably the 1.6, the speedo sensor connection at the gearbox often gets bad. On my 2.0 it was a regular feature & was quickly solved by a re-seat of the connector.

ABS vans use the wheel speed signal form the ABS sensors for the speedo. Its the old Non ABS M59's that have a electronic Speedo drive in the Gearbox for the speedo.

Possibility are All the Wheel speed sensors have given up, The ABS controller has packed up or if the Binnacle is faulty. Although i know the reply to this one, I would advise to fix the known problem with Hub fitted and anything else the daffty who had the van before you managed to screw up/ about with in the ABS system and eliminate it as a cause.

My M59 2.0 had ABS IIRC & for sure had a gearbox speedo drive. It's close to the driveshaft on the driver's side. Like I mentioned earlier, not sure about the 1.4 tho.

The following link is for a P206, but the speedo drive is in the same place.
