Hi everybody.
I’ve just registered today in the hope of helping others out. My front middle seatbelt was stuck as if the inertia ratchet was locked. After removing the belt it turns out it’s a 5 minute fix which could save others hundreds £. Simply pop off the ratchet plastic cover and inside is a ball bearing mechanism which only allows the belt to be released if the belt is in the upright position. Simply there was grit/dirt in the cup not allowing the ball to move freely. A quick clean out and hey presto all working again. Pictures are attached if they work.

well done for this, i had the same problem with mine being stuck, I had to brake really hard going to work one day, it was a few days later that 3 of us were going to go out when I discovered my belt was jammed, I tried quite a few times to release it and failed, then the next night I was parking up and deliberately braked hard at about 5mph and by amazement my seatbelt released, I guess the ball bearing is sticking on some dirt so I will have a better look now then thanks to you
I had same problem couple years ago just took it off shook it sprayed something in there been good ever since. i expect it is more notaceble on builders vans where there is a lot of grit.
Just shows, it pays to keep your balls clean in case you have an accident. My mum used to say you had to put clean pants on in case you got run over....I guess it's the first thing they check!

Seriously though, I've never seen a clip for the middle front seat, only the belt itself. Anyone have a pic of where theirs is? I've lifted both seats and no sign. I guess it could have been removed, just don't know from where

The one to clip the middle belt into? My van only has one clip (socket) in between middle and passenger seats. If you clip the middle belt into that socket, it blocks the release button.

Hi , Just wondering if anyone could help me out as to where the seatbelt is positioned.
I've got rid of my seats and got the double split seats but cannot figure out how the middle seatbelt goes . I have the bar on the bulkhead ladder.
Also where would I get hold of the extra seat fixing bolts nuts and holders as their is extra ones with the double seats
