These are some photo's I have take when looking behind the glove box, and I can't see where my pollen filter is can any one advise me please

The part that you've linked looks like a resistor pack to limit the fan speeds according to the switch position, it also has a thermal cut out. Often, the fastest speed uses no resistance so maybe that's why the fan works if you bypass the resistor.
