[WTB] Anyone have alloys for sale?
#1
Hi folks, looking for 16" or 17" alloys, preferably C4 Resolfens but would consider any Pug, Citroen or aftermarket ones (got to like the look of em of course) as my current wheels are rusty steelies and trims. Also due to current travel restrictions, ideally they need to be in central Scotland near Edinburgh / Fife area.

4x108 of course. Please, no cracked or bent wheels - plenty of them on ebay! Scuffs and paint condition are not too much of an issue though.

Hello - not a lot of use at the moment as the Devon company is currently shut for the COVID doo dah but they may respond to an email ....

These guys convert vans to wheelchair use and the Berlingo has been a favourite - they come in from the factory with five alloys and the spare gets set aside as the wheelchair ramp means they don't use it. They used to have a fair pile of them sitting in a corner but I have not spoken to anyone there for about two years so no idea if this is still the case.

If you manage to find a set miles from where you are then get in touch with Paisley Freight as they have a reasonably priced wheel/tyre courier setup whilst a lot of the other companies will not carry wheels/tyres

I've used them a couple of times over the years (plus they understand Ayrshire as she is spoke :-))

Thanks Graeme, that is a brilliant idea. I would never ever have thought about something like that. I've sent an enquiry to the coachwork folk, even if they can't help till this crap blows over and the tip about paisley freight is superb...their prices are fantastic.

Lots of folk have wheels for sale on eBay and are collection only. Inspired choice mate!

I got a reply from gmcoachwork, they have no alloys suitable for the van at the moment but if anyone has 17" Resolfens for sale, or multispoke aftermarket or 5 spoke aftermarket wheels, I'd be very interested as long as they're a sensible price.

Has anyone tried ford fiesta st wheels? I know the centre bore is 1mm smaller but someone said on Facebook that they go on, if a bit tight.

Did you get them from that place in the end?

No mate, I bought a set from eBay, off a C4 VTR. £115 with good tyres.
