Hello again everyone. I've got a judder on the clutch that only presents itself after driving a while. When cold it doesn't do it only starts when warmed up and gets worse in start stop traffic. There seems to be plenty of meat on the clutch and its not slipping (done 51000 miles) The engine code is DV6DTED (9HP) JBCM3014558 and 5 speed gearbox and logbook says 68kw. I have done searches all over the place and some results say my car has solid flywheel and some say DMF. How can I find out for sure, If its a DMF, can I get a conversion kit to a solid Flywheel. Nothing seems straight forward on getting the correct information. If it helps I can provide my VIN. I am doing this research now for when the day comes that I will need a new clutch Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dave

You could ask a main dealer for a written quote for a new clutch, they should list the part number on the quote. Other than that, maybe Lighty will be able to find out.

I think most of the 90hp versions had a standard flywheel but don't quote me on that.
Put your VIN into catcar then look up the clutch, if the friction plate has no springs it will have a DMF.

My 2010 110PS XTR had a Dual Mass Flywheel, as previous answer I think the lower power versions are solid flywheel.

Hi and thanks for all your reply's. Just checked on catcar.info with my vin number and the friction plate is showing as having springs so it must have a solid flywheel. I've had a price from a firm called Calder Clutch's in Brighouse west Yorkshire £ 45 for a 3 piece kit. and they have excellent 100% feedback on fleabay Tel : 01484 721045
