Hi just a general question I snapped the headlight switch today and can’t turn lights off but when I turn the engine off the lights also turn off. This is won’t drain the battery will it
Thanks

Nope. I leave mine on and let the BSI shut them off with the ignition all the time.

Could possibly be an MOT problem. Can you switch between dipped beam & main beam with a broken stalk? Also I believe the regs regarding headlamp use are different to DLR's

No, they're not. If you want your lights on you can have them on all the time. Only fogs can't be used unless the conditions require them.

I was thinking more of the switching arrangement.
