They even have their own Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangel
Must be a French one as well.

This Spanish language B9 model promo gives a good visual idea:

If you need translate Spanish video, let me know. I can help you with that.

Very kind of you. Maybe you could watch the film and pass on anything they say which seems interesting enough for this forum?

The main things relevant is that the company only do conversions on new vehicles so you cannot have your current vehicle converted. The options include a diff' lock and selectable 4WD amongst other things so anyone considering buying a used Dangel needs to clarify exactly what spec' the vehicle has. The ex-Gendarmerie ones have around 7cm extra ride height, 15" wheels and a permanent 4X4 drive along with a sump guard.

One possible idea might be to buy the best recent B you can find here, get a used 4x4 there to match but regardless of general condition, swap the bits over, and resell the LHD one.

My local garage who do the repairs on our vehicles also specialise in ex-Gendarmerie Berlingos. These are typically 10 - 12 years old with around 200,000km on the clock, which is about a quarter of the annual distance UK police cars would cover. The French cars also get serviced and repaired by Citroen main dealers, not the police authority's own mechanics. And they are Four-Wheel-Drive. And 120bhp.

Bonjour Nicepix

I would be interested to know the contact details for your local garage specialising in ex-Gendarmerie Dangel used vehicles.  I can put one to use immediately.  The grimy conditions on my local Breton farm tracks do me no favours with my M49.

PM me if you are open to sharing.
