Hi,
Just bought 2nd hand Berlingo.
Curious about the small input on drivers side windscreen/ door pillar.
It’s like a small jack plug input ?
Mk ii, 2011
Tried to do a few searches in here, but get told I don’t have permission.

Microphone input for the Teletrac navigation system? My microphone is mounted on the pillar further up from that socket.
(not that Teletrac is worth bothering with, it is pure gash. Being a fellow Scot, you'll get ma drift)
I think you need 3 posts or similar before you can search. If you did get search results, change the .co.uk part to .com or it will also say you don't have permission. The forum changed over at some point and a lot of the older posts show as .co.uk
I think it was JJ9 or Cancunia that put me onto that one, I used to hate searching as it never worked half the time - that was why in the end (.co.uk)

The mic for Bluetooth is at the to[ of the pillar.
Sat nav never came with the van, although the registration docs for it were in the glove box.
A mate has 16 plate and has a cable coming out for satnav.
Mine don’t, unless it’s tucked under the door trim.
Might have a poke about when cleaning the front cab up.
Good idea. Do you have an oblong black box on the windscreen where the mirror should be..

OK, That's the GPS antenna for the Teletrac navigation system and vehicle tracker. You therefore have the system, but not the sat nav unit itself (its a stick on one like a Navman or Garmin sized thing) - I replaced my Navman original with a Garmin. The original system had the facility to call Teletrac for assistance or setup but its expensive to use, better not to have it fitted. The navigation was crap, and they charged you yearly to use it or a per-journey charge to your credit card.
The Garmin I have is free once bought, and the updates can be had off ebay cheaply rather than going to Garmin. It also plugs into that connector behind the rubber trim (power cable)
I wanted the tracker working but they wanted over £200 a year so I decided not to bother, you can get GPS trackers off ebay yourself for a few quid that can be hidden somewhere for theft protection with no fees to pay.

Ok,
Removed the side panel expecting to find the charger Plug or whatever for the satnav screen.
Nothing I expected.
Two cables going up, one to the jack plug and one to the mic further up pillar.
There is a small pinkish 6 pin plug just hanging, only 2 wires Going on.
Possibly this is the connector For said cable ?
I’ll test it later, testers are not to hand, and possible get an attachment to charge my mobile if possible.

I think the power cable actually splits in two, connected by a push in jack or barrel connector or some other plug, so you may be onto something. I'll try to take a pic of mine for you. You may just be missing the end bit as the preceding owner may have had the socket part moved to the pillar trim, so the end could be removed or changed more easily?
