Hi Guys its me again with a question that I have looked for an answear but got conflicting ones. I Have a October 2010 multispace XTR that has the engine code DV6DTED(9HP). I found this on a post from 2016 off this forum,
" Hello K Dilks welcome to the forum dose it have a DPF / FAP if it's a 110 BHP it will have a DPF / FAP any other BHP up to 2012 it will not have a DPF / FAP "
When I look for oil for my reg no some sites show ordinary 5w30 fully synthetic others show 5w30 low saps. Does anyone have a car of the same age of mine. I am confused again and any guidance and help will be appropriated Thanks in advance

Put your vin number into
http://www.catcar.info/citroen/?lang=en and under the parts list, if it shows a particulate filter, you have one. Euro 4 was up to 2011 I think but the full list is here.
https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/emiss...standards/
And look under the car or van in front of the driver's side rear wheel, if there's a blue pump and a big black box then you have the PAT system and a DPF afaik.

That lists the 9HP engine as having a DPF / FAP.

About 100,000 miles if it doesn't develop a leak before then. It's a pouch system, and is around £100 for a 1 litre replacement pouch. The colour of the connector on the replacement pouch must match the original, as there were several different fluids used over the Euro 4 & 5 period.

I would check for sure that you car has one as Citroen / Peugeot like to throw in a wild card every now and then

Thanks JJ9, some of the guys on here have posted links and it seems like it may have one. When the citroen dealers opens tomorrow I will ring the parts department and ask for a quote for some DPF fluid for my car. If they come up with a price then it must have a dpf if they say it doesn't need it then it's happy days. Every time I try to find out exactly what is inside my car and research info on tinternet I always end up confused. Then I come on the forum and you guys always help me make some sense of it all. Some sites I've been on say my car is 90hp 66kw others say it's 92hp 68kw and my reg doc says its 91hp

There does seem to be a lot of variables to the spec of the same models. Each time I try to find out what make my car tick it's like playing a game of Cludo. Was it Colonel Mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick. Then it turns out to be Miss Scarlet in the dining room with a dagger ! You get the jist
