Hi, as promised this is what I did to get Cruise control and speed limit working on 2010 Berlingo 1.6hdi XTR B9 series.
TOOLS NEEDED
T20 torx driver , 10mm socket. Plastic trim tool. Hacksaw. Stanley knife. Lexia3/ Diagbox
PARTS NEEDED
The accelerator pedal needs to be marked LVVD (standard pedal is marked D)
The cruise control switch I would recommend is a genuine citroen/peugeot part either new or a used one from a breakers.( I had a load of grief with one I had ordered from china that didn’t work)
They cost me £19 for pedal and £16 for switch both off ebay.
You have to make sure that the brake pedal switch connector has 4 wires and there is a clutch switch fitted to the top left side of clutch pedal. Both these requirements were fitted as standard on my car and probably will be on yours.
Fitting the accelerator pedal
You need to remove the trim panel under the steering column it pulls off but you may need to use plastic trim tool to start it off. You can use a screwdriver to lever it but you risk marking your trim panel. Once it is removed there is a horizontal panel that is above the pedals that is held in place by 4 clips. Once removed you will see the acc pedal is held in place by three 10mm nuts and when removed there is one electrical block connection that has an orange securing clip that a bit of a fiddle but you will work it out. Installing it is just the reverse. One thing to mention while you have the trim stripped down is to change the pollen filter, instructions can be found on YOU TUBE. (see link below)
Fitting the Cruise Control Switch.
Remove the underside steering column cover it is held in place by two T20 torx screws , remove the bottom cowl completely it’s a bit of a fiddle and lift the top cowl back towards the speedo the control connection assembly under the steering wheel will now be on view. To the left side just in front of the indicator control you will see a blanking plate. Remove this and it will expose the seating for the cruise control switch, insert the switch until you feel it click in place. Now take the bottom cowl, you will see a rectangle marked in the left hand side this needs to be cut out to accommodate the Cruise Control switch. Take your time and do a neat job. Once done reassemble the steering cowl making sure the leatherette trim on top is in place properly. Once everything is fitted and back in place you need to enable Cruise control and speed limit in the cars ECU and BSI using Lexia/Diagbox
