Can Berlingo XL 2020 front seat convert to swivel
#1
Hi this is first post here.
I'm considering the Berlingo XL as a daily driver and occasional micro camper. Does anybody know if the front seats could be converted to swivel to face backwards? If so can you recommend any bases or have a photo?
Thanks

I know these guys do them for the front passenger seat, but I don't know if you can fit them yourself. https://www.urbancampers.co.uk.

This is a long shot...

If you're up to converting things and would like the idea of having a powered rotating front seat, I have one in my Berlingo (M59) which I wasn't going to sell as it's not in the way, but my arm could be twisted.

Why it would need modifying (if it can be - I have no idea) is that it only rotates 90 degrees as it is, under electric power. There are two buttons on the end of a curly lead. It's designed for helping wheelchair-bound people get into and out of a car. It was supplied and fitted by a mobility shop so is a serious heavy duty piece of kit, not something bodged up in a shed. And of course it fits a Berlingo.

I honestly have no idea what this seat is worth as I've never seen another one anywhere. I think it must be extremely rare. Throwing an ordinary M59 front passenger seat into the deal for me to replace the motorised one with would sweeten any offer you care to make - any colour fabric would be fine.

There is also a wheelchair hoist in the boot which I do intend to sell; I say this because it was fitted with the seat and you might be interested in it for its motors etc...? These generally go for £300-400 on eBay though I would take a bit less to get rid. It has a 90kg capacity with is more than most.

However I might let the seat go on its own if you can persuade me.

As it happens I'm also in Essex. You'd be welcome to have a look at it.

If this isn't what you're looking for I quite understand.
