Please help..central locking and tailgate problems.
#1
Huh Hi...new member here trying to find my way round this site. I have a 2018 Multispace 1.6 automatic on Motability.
A fault occurred without warning this afternoon, the door open light came on even though everything was properly closed.
On arriving home the tailgate wouldn't open and the central locking isn't working.
I'm now in the position of not being able to get my mobility scooter out of the boot, plus the doors will not lock.  I'm more than slightly concerned as my car is not garaged.   Any advice or assistance very much appreciated.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place....please be gentle with me Exclamation

The doors won't lock if there's a door slightly open. It's possible to open the tailgate from the inside using a small screwdriver or similar in the locking mechanism, it's explained in the handbook. Does the display say which door is open?

Many thanks for all the replies. Problem was caused would you believe by the tailgate window somehow being dislodged by possibly slamming the tailgate shut. Took seconds to fix but what a strange set of circumstances. Many thanks again.
