2014 Berlingo Semi Auto Gearbox Fault

Hi, 

Hope somebody can give me some pointers on how to fix what I will call a peculiar problem with my Berlingo 2014.

It has a semi automatic gearbox but the automatic only works gearing down, not up.. I have to manually gear up with the controls behind steering wheel but I can also only go up to 3rd.
What the hell is going on with this car?
No fault codes but both airbag lights and the "!" light is on.
This happened after a stealership changed the EGR. 
They haven't been able to figure out why this happened. 
I would really appreciate some help on this one!

I wonder if you need your steering angle sensor calibrated / reset. Ideally if you get or have Lexia, you can find out why the abs light is on and perform a steering angle reset and see if that fixes it.on some cars you need to get a straight, quiet road, drive forward 10m without touching the steering wheel, then stop and reverse 10m again don't touch the wheel. Drive forward 10m again, stop and turn ignition off. Pull the key out. Insert the key and restart, that might reset the steering angle sensor if it is that. It's tied to abs, esp etc and could be the issue.
