[Engine] Engine / Gearbox swap??

Hi all,:wave:

I have a 2003 Berlingo with a 1.9D. Non Turbo. Engine is rough and gears crunch into 2nd gear.

I also have sitting out the back of the workshop a Peugout 306 1.9D Non turbo. Great engine and gearbox but otherwise very rough.


Can these be a straight swap??

Hi, you'll have to make sure the engine codes are the same then the ancillary stuff could be swapped over. I swaped a 98 berlingo 1.9d (DB9) engine with one out of a peugeot but as for the g/box - it had different ratios. Good luck. alut:
