Best version of DiagBox for M59
#1
Hi there!

As I had trouble with my SRS module due to previous owner's lazyness to give it a proper coding I ordered myself a Lexia to give it a go. I've  managed to code the SRS module and I'm interested to go a bit deeper on it. On the way I've tried different versions of software and have read that the most recent versions may not be able to telecode properly. Could anyone give me any suggestions which version would be most capable for M59 as I am only interested to use it on my '06 Berlingo only.

Thanks in Advance!

My Diagbox is v5.29 and works without a problem. It has been a while, but I think my diagnostic tool will work with diagbox up until v6.15 without issues and the coding also works without a glitch. I have not tried any newer versions as my copy of the communication card is pretty old and does not take higher versions, and I have tried flashing, etc.

Why do you need a really recent version of Diagbox for 06 Berlingo? Even my "very old" v5.29 can do everything for my 07 Peugeot Partner (same as the M59 Berlingo).
smile, you are alive! Peugeot Partner Escapade (same as M59, but with offroady-ish look) 2007, 1.6HDi 92

The latest standalone version (3.xx?) of Lexia should work fine on the M59. Diagbox will start it's own version of Lexia for older models IIRC & will just add an overhead. Later versions (7.xx > ?) of Diagbox on a Peugeot have some restrictions built in that can only be overcome by using PP2000, for example when setting Cruise Control.

To update fimware(telecode) on SRS(or ECU,ABS etc...) is possible only with OEM diagbox and with user/password.
