Would it be possible to get a close up picture of how / where the first set of hinges are set?
I can't work it out; if the left hand (looking into the car) box has a ply top, but the right side doesn't, then the left side is a ply thickness taller, so how do you get the hinge level?
No doubt something obvious I'm missing!
Thanks for any help

Great build Snels...wondering could you explain whats going on with the right hand box on jpeg8. With the battons/shruts or whatever they are called, do they spin around to let the box close? Does the left hand side of the box stay like that or is it hinged to fold flat when it is opened.
I am attempting my own version, more or less based on Gravitys build but i like what you are doing with the right side box, thats why i ask.

yup..mine ended up like that (sticking out), so i ended up putting a piano hinge on it so it can fold down (i got the cheap set of piano hinges from screwfix £10er ish). I'm thinking i might leave it like this as i dont think i might need a shelf come table when i already have the centre table (or will have when it arrives from ebay) but i could be wrong.
When it is folded down its kept upright with a piece of wood and screw..see photo
edit, looks like i cant add attachments / photos

I purchased my first Berlingo this week with a view to getting this setup BUT I don't have the
skills
tool or space to make own.
Do you think I could take these plans to b&q and get the ply cut and then get a local joiner to assemble correctly? I reckon that would get the price right down.
Or, I'm be assuming b&q won't have the facility to cut the ventilation holes so maybe a local timber merchant to do the cuts and assembly?
and one more thing, Is there a model of boot jump that can be easily configured for a single bed or double if I'm away for the night on my own?
