M59 Berlingo Glove Box Removal
#1
Looking for some help to fix a really annoying issue in my berlingo.

The glove box handle snapped recently so the glove box now hangs down.

I tried ordering a replacement handle from Ebay but when it eventually arrived it was the wrong one I've attached a pic of the broken handle.

My options seem to be:
1) Order new handle - If anyone can point me in the right direction of where I could source the correct part (used or new) I would be really grateful.

2) Order new glove box. Not ideal but at this stage I would be willing to pay for a new glove box just to get it sorted. Problem I am having is that I cant remove the current one.

I understand the steps are:
A) remove three clips below glove box to access behind glove box.
B) Remove two white clips to release glove box.

Is there a trick to remove the white clips? I can just about see them when lying on my back (angle is really awkward) but cant get them out. Any suggestions from anyone who was done this before?

Thanks [Image: 892ea0f1da3e4f87726fe851612ac94c.jpg][Image: 1a5cea2f0a97e566c3af6ea02c44a735.jpg]

The part number 9644461777 brings up the correct part for your car but all the ones on eBay are not from the UK

Give these guys a call, they can supply the exact genuine part by post. They'll want your VIN number. I've bought some stupidly hard to find parts from them.

Thanks for the recommendation.

They were very helpful. Unfortunately the handle is only sold as part of the glove box lid. Link below in case anyone needs one:

Managed to get this sorted.

Ordered a used glove box from a scrap yard here in Ireland. €35 delivered.

I then tried to remove the broken one. Got one of the white pins behind the glove box out but no matter what I tried I couldn't get the second one out.

Then took a different approach - swapped the handle from the one I bought into the old one. Job done. Works perfectly now.

Thanks again for the help
