Hi all.

Just gutted out the DPF on my van (hole saw and a hammer btw, no cutting or welding reqd) and while I’m here I was thinking of doing the Cat too.... now, I know it won’t pass an MOT but I use it solely on private roads and therefore don’t need an MOT....

But what else will break after I do this?

I am aware it may need a remap and will likely throw a wobbly and go into limp mode also.... nothing new there then.

It’s a 1.6 model

Cheers

You may need a resistor on the DPF sensor to fake the difference in pressure from inlet to outlet of the DPF. Why take out the CAT, it won't make any real difference to the exhaust flow?
