Just got my lingo, drives well but the gear Linkage is a bit sloppy for my likeing . Is there any way to fix it?

had same problem with mine 07 1.6l Berlingo, got a second hand linkage from a breaker and replaced linkage
you will probably find play in ball joint at bottom of gear lever

Mine is notchy and clunky, always wanted to improve it. The throw is massive too. I'm going to try and improve it and shorten the throw as well. Not sure how yet, but it's definitely the one thing I dislike about the driving experience.

Going to order new gear Linkage and see if that sorts it out. If not no big deal, will get used to it I'm sure.
