Hello all,
ive been struggling with a eletronic problem but can't find the solution.
My wiper / blinkers don't work properly.
If i put it on the ignition, but not start the car. It all works fine.
When i actually start the car, then the problem happens.
A week ago it didnt happen always, so some times i would shut the car off, and on again. and sometimes it would then solve the problem.
But since this week, that also don't work now it just doesn't work anymore.
And today, not even the radio was going on, it took a while. Normally the battery light would go on when i use the blinker, but not even this today.
Weird things happen, when i use the blinker, first i heard a weird sound coming from the left speaker. and the battery red light would light up.
And since a week the radio also shuts down for a second or two, and then powers on again.
All other lights are working fine, all the time. But its the blinker + wiper , both at the same time not working.
First i thought it was the radio or speakers, but changing them with another model didn't solve it, also unplugging it completly didn't help much either.
Thanks in advance.

This may be a CAN bus error, I would try a BSI reset, google it and follow the procedure then see if it works again. If not, you really need DiagBox to properly see what Citroen faults are showing in the BSI etc. I suspect you will see a CAN bus fault somewhere.

Sorry for late response, didn't have any time to test it.
I just did the BSI reset, started a few times. and the lights and wipers are working.
I will check if it keeps working now.

I'd perhaps check all battery connections are tight, and all fuses are snug in their positions. The red battery light if flashing regularly, means the voltage is lower (or higher) than it should be. The smart battery monitor is part of the positive connection on the battery main terminal. Worth a check too.

Thanks for the response, all fuses seem ok, and i checked the battery cables, tightent them again, but seem ok aswell now.
THe red battery is not always flashing, its only when i use my wiper or blinker.
It's weird that it's not always. In the morning example i started the car 2 times, and the 2nd time it all worked. And i drove for about 30 minutes, and kept working the whole way.

Try pressing all the fuses firmly down into their sockets, they do creep out over time. You will feel and hear a click as they set properly. You must have something loose or not clicked in properly.
Looking at them doesn't tell you much.

Yea i meant that. i pressed them all, didn't feel any loose ones. I did also move them while the car was running to see if it would make the blinker work but no luck.
