Rear interior (boot) panel has come off - anyone know any fixes?

Hi there,

I have recently purchased a lovely Citroen Berlingo MS Forte 16V (2008).

The interior back panel has come off (fell off when boot was opened) - and at the moment I'm struggling to re-attach it.

Does anyone have any advice?

Welcome to the forum.

You can buy the correct push fit clips on eBay, for example (there may well be cheaper sellers):

As cancunia has said, Buy some of the above clips. Replace the ones still on your panel by sliding the broken ones out sideways and just beat with your hand the plastic panel back into place allowing the lugs on clips to bite into holes on metal work. (don't trap the hand strap)

What cancunia said, but on mine the tailgate was rather loose and I can hear it banging constantly, as a few of the plastic fasteners were broken. I drillied the tailgate and put rivnuts at the back and fitted black oxidised bolts (flat head, hex in the middle). It is perfect, it looks like it was designed this way, haha. But it is a bit of work.
I will have to find a picture.

Thanks for this thread, my boot interior needs fixing as I had to take it off when the window broke.
