As cancunia has said, Buy some of the above clips. Replace the ones still on your panel by sliding the broken ones out sideways and just beat with your hand the plastic panel back into place allowing the lugs on clips to bite into holes on metal work. (don't trap the hand strap)

What cancunia said, but on mine the tailgate was rather loose and I can hear it banging constantly, as a few of the plastic fasteners were broken. I drillied the tailgate and put rivnuts at the back and fitted black oxidised bolts (flat head, hex in the middle). It is perfect, it looks like it was designed this way, haha. But it is a bit of work.
I will have to find a picture.
