I'm sure you could seal it with PU adhesive, that stuff sticks to virtually anything and it is very strong but flexible.

Have a look at
Seals Direct. They have sorted me out quite a few time on seals for boats.
B9 (2016) 1.6 BlueHDi 100 Multispace XTR = Mine; B9 (2013) Enterprise 1.6 HDi Van = Hers.

Any recommended brands ? and I will try when the Gaffer Tape gives up.

There's a few brands listed in the thread I linked to, or if you have a Toolstation close to you they sell the stuff.

As ffrenchie advises in the other thread use masking tape to help you get it on neatly, I would smooth it before it dried with a gloved finger and you can feather the edge out that way, remove the masking tape before the sealant dries and you should have a neat enough job.

The best products of car roof sealing EternaBond RSW....Dicor 501LSW-1.....Geocel GC28100.....but i personaly use for this product Proguard F9991-4 i just apply like a paint get rid off car roof water leakage in rainy weather.
