How do I find out my ABS brake pump number

Hi all,

My garage has asked me to source a second hand ABS pump with ECU.

Google brings up stacks of different part numbers and I need to know what the part number is.

Any kind soul help me to find this info I would be really appreciated.

you will have to look at the unit on the car and get the numbers from it, take a photo if you can, then try and find one with the same numbers.

I'll try tomorrow. My mechanic said it's in an awkward place under the battery.

I just thought that I could Google my car model Berlingo Multispace Desire HDI 2006 and find the part number but all I get is loads of sites where you have to give your email and phone numbers etc.

Even if you search citroen part numbers with your car VIN umber
you will find at least 3-5 model numbers for ABS pump.
It is best to read form your ABS pump.

As brajomobil says you're best seeing the part number on your own pump.

Look on the internet for an image of the pump and see where the part numbers are located so you know where to look, a torch & a small mirror may help when looking for your number on your pump.

Thanks for your advice folks. I went to a car breakers yesterday and asked a lad to look at my existing one before finding me one. Just hope I've bought the correct one and will find out when I take it to my garage next week
