Immobiliser problems on 2006 multispace 1.6 petrol

Hi 

I wonder if anyone can help with some advice.

My 2006 1.6 multispace petrol keeps intermittently activating the immobiliser 

The boot lock is broken so I have tried down to keep closed.

Every so often I go to the car it turns over but wont start. If I leave for a while sometimes 5min somes 30min..it starts 

Can I get rid of the immobiliser full stop as it is definitely the problem.

Any advice would be gratefully received

HDi Tuning (UK) sell unlocked ECUs for around £185 with the immobiliser function removed. You can buy one with just that done, or for £225 with a stage 1 remap included.
