Cabin Filter Replacement
#1
Hi. I'm wanting to replace my cabin and pollen filter and am unsure how. I've looked in the handbook and it doesn't give much information. Has anyone done it and is it a straight forward job?

It's a right faff. I'm planning to do mine. Just search YouTube, there's a good video on there, showing how to do it.

I'm not sure if it's just in the air con models but I had 2 filters in mine. I too watched a you tube video and it was quite straight forward once I'd watched that but if ur luck enough to be small like me ur fit in the footwell in some funny positions while doing it lol.

The AC models are the only ones to have pollen filters. You're right Kelly, they have 2 filters packed against each other. Bit of a faff huh?

Once I got my fingers on the little tabs and realised there on top of each other it wasn't so bad... Wasn't expecting to be as dirty as they was but they were probably in it from new with 20k on the clock.

I got Bosch filters when I changed mine, and the filter actually came with a decent guide on how to change them. I had more difficulties getting the new filters in, than getting the old out...

Will replaceing them get rid of smells? I have a bit of a pong for a min or 2 then it fades away. Checked the videos out, looks easy enough to do.
Does anyone have a parts numbers for the replacement filters?

6447.XF is the part number for a pair of filters.
