I would like to make a three upgrades
#1
I have just got myself a 2013 Berlingo Multispace and would like  to make a three upgrades. Reversing sensors, reversing camera and a head unit that has satnav.

Reversing sensors are not much trouble

Reversing camera, this is more a which type as there seem to be quite a few.

A head unit that has satnav which would have a usb socket to recognise my stick that has my music on it. I have seen mentioned that there is an android linked system but cannot find any reference to it
I now a unit with satnav will need and Ariel for it to receive the necessary info for the maps.

Any info and links much appreciated

I have seen a similar post here but that took place last year.

Hi hakeyefxr, Welocome to the forum.

I too have a 2013 berlingo so have some experience of installing a new head unit.

For what you require I would look into double din android auto compatible units. These will let you display apps from your phone on the screen of the headunit. If you were to use google maps navigation as GPS you would not need a separate GPS ariel as it would utilise the one in the connected phone.

Most android auto headunits need to be connected to phone via usb, so if your music is on a pen drive you will need to look for a headunit with two usb inputs (often one rear, one front)

With regards to reversing cameras, some double din head units have video inputs for this reason, however you would need to run a cable from the revere light circuit to switch this on automatically.

When pricing up options you will need to add around £50 for the cable which lets you retain the steering wheel controls and the access to the menu which appears on the central display (clock mpg etc)

https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/android-...ereos.html would be a good place to start looking for models which may suit you, they also sell car specific fixing kits for berlingos.

Please feel free to ask any questions on this thread and I will do my best to answer them, I recently put a single din unit into mine and I did look into double din android auto at the time.
