Hi folks, does anyone have a B9 with a factory foot rest fitted? Mine has a mark where it looks like it had been, but there is just the angled slab of carpet that is not the right angle for putting your foot on comfortably. But there is a ridge in that carpet where it definitely looks like one has been. Hunted high and low on eBay, but can't find anyone selling one. Just want to confirm they actually exist. See attached pic...(excuse the grit - needs vacuumed!)

Ah cheers mate, the carpet is angled so not really comfy for a foot rest. I had hoped maybe the C4GP or something had an actual plastic one that made the angle up so the rest area was flat. I use that carpeted area with the mark on it, but its not ideal as it is angled to the right, not the back to front angle I hate, its that it tips to the right and makes your ankle sore on long drives.

We've two B9s in the family: Daughter has a 100hp Hdi 2012 model, and ours as you know is a 2016 120hp HDi. these two cars drive completely differently from one another, but we've found both to be comfortable long distance tourers. I cant say I've notices any discomfort with from my parked left foot on either car. (both are LHD so typically Citroen, the car was designed for LHD and RHD is something of an after-thought!)
Interestingly, the perceived power difference between the two when driving is a lot less than the numbers would suggest, and for the most part, the older car is an easier drive.

I love my B9, best van yet and I've had loads of other models. I don't even need a van for work, it's just so practical as an every day vehicle as we have no kids to find seats for. I have to say the 75hp is way better than you'd think for it's power - it does put it down well. It is super comfortable, I just would like a natural foot rest.
Both yours are LHD? Is it not weird driving them in the UK.

I edited the earlier post to 100hp for daughter's car... in fact its the 75hp model. the gearing is very well suited to that engine's power. As you say, it puts it down very well indeed.
Yes both are LHD. We live in south Bohemia in the northern Bravarian hills. LHD or RHD not a problem. I learned to drive in France and have had LHD cars in UK much of my life.

Sounds lovely - I have friends in North Rhine-Westphalia, probably at the opposite side of Cologne from you (never been, they always come over here). I understand about the LHD as it is so difficult to drive on a different side from the one you learned, I tried a LHD cavalier many years ago here as an acquaintance brought it back from Germany and was trying to sell it, but it was torture for a RHD trained person to use. I kept hitting the door panel going for the gears.
