Sometimes the cable can be the cause - my cable is old and occasionally i need to pull it out and give it a wipe. Possibly some of the contacts get oxidized?

Reviving an old thread but has anyone sorted this problem as I have never had my CarPlay working on my 71plate berlingo. I have never had the icon power up on the unit.
