Hi all
Just wondered if anyone else is bothered by these things too?
I don't like where the speedo is, it's obscured by the steering wheel and when I'm doing anything around 55+ I cant see exactly what speed I'm doing and have to move my head to see the speedo properly.
Another one is the small 'parcel shelf' above the driver and passenger, were always banging our heads on it when adjusting our seating position to get comfortable.
This one's for the 'WAV's' out there, The ramp blocks out almost 50% of the rear view, which to me personally, is dangerous. Many times i have not seen a car that is right up behind me, mainly the small 'sports' car type. I've only noticed them when I turn my head and stick it out of the side window.
This last one , another 'WAV' one, don’t know if its due to the fact that they’re faulty or what but, the safety belt restraints at the front, they are very temperamental and sometimes don’t come out, is there a special thing I have to do to unreel them?
I am thinking of giving the dealership a call in the new year to ask them about this.

When I took delivery of my Berlingo it took me some time playing with driver's seat height, front-back position and steering wheel positions to get everything just right where I can see everything, not bang my head, etc.

Already sorted that, had a C-Max before and it's basically the same.
I went out to the car last night to and had a play around with it and eventually found the steering wheel adjuster. Don’t know why I couldn’t find it before, as it's the same as the C-Max and most cars presumably. It was only off fully adjusted up by about 15mm.
But I guess I will be banging my head as I’ve got it fully adjusted up as I like to see all around me, not like some people who all you can see is the top of their nose and eyes, makes me wonder how those people can dee enough to drive safely???
Thanks anyways :-)

Had a drive to the shops yesterday and the steering wheel is still a problem, its blocking from about 65mph onwards. The wheel is fully adjusted up.

The middle rear seatbelt strap position bugs me, also very difficult to fasten any seatbelts, especially front passenger one when the front centre storage box is fitted, I feel they should be fitted in more accessible position as they are too tight to get to:brickwall:

Are the front centre storage boxes standard as we didn’t get one when we got our car?
