12v power outlet in rear
#1
My Berlingo is a 2017 Feel. Unlike my previous XTR, it does not have the 12v power (cigar) outlet in the rear boot area.
Does anybody know if I'll find the cabling for the 12v rear socket behind the rear offside inner panel in the boot of my current vehicle please ?
If not, will I be OK to take a feed from the rear of the 12v cigar lighter in the cab and feed it through to the rear ? Any other suggestions welcome
Thanks

how hard is to remove the rear boot panel and fit the power socket? I have the socket but I'm afraid of removing the panel.. also are the cables behind the panel?

Not specific to the new shape, but I just ran cable straight from the battery terminals (with a fuse obviously) under the car and through the boot floor. The upside of doing it that way is you bypass all the computers controlling how long things stay on for with the ignition off.

The downside is yo in bypass the computers that turn things off as the battery goes flat ........

My longer term plan was to fit a leisure battery and split charge relay so the wiring would have been needed anyway but it was only a quick job to cable tie it to existing wires/hoses under the car.
