Wanted - Berlingo roof rails

Here's a set of proper ones...took me months and months to find an OEM set. Aftermarket ones are rubbish.

Thanks Zion, I've got those saved and I'll probably end up getting them if nothing turns up here. I did wonder about the quality of the after market ones, you've just confirmed my thoughts there.

Yeah I got offered those ones for £78 from the seller, so he will likely do that for you if you have them in your watched list. Used OEM ones are rare as rocking horse poop. I'd grab them if you really want a set. They are only the third set I've ever found on ebay and never got any offered even on here and I'm never off the forum.

I bought the second set I found as they were in black, and the first set were collect only from Lincoln or something as they had crossbars and the owner had lost the keys so couldn't be posted.

Proper ones are £300 new plus delivery btw. But the quality is light years ahead of the aftermarket stuff, no contest. They are built like tanks from solid alloy bar, and the aftermarket ones I tried are flimsy thin strips of alloy tubing with a plastic foot.

Nice one. I did do the puppy eyes to the Boss and she agreed. I let it wait till it was her idea though.

I started looking at dearer stuff for the van...she piped up "Why don't you get those roof bars, you liked them and they are cheaper than those silly coil over things."

"Great idea sweetheart!" I replied.

I'm saving the "silly coil over things" for MOT time.....hehehe

Absolute quality, I'd never have thought of getting coil overs as necessary maintenance. Genius!
