Will you speak to me. A Vauxhall confession.

Hello, I wanted a Berlingo but instead I got a deal on a 2020 Vauxhall Combo Life Energy Turbo D 1499 130bhp.

I hope to hang around and learn a thing or two about the common elements of the cars.

Thanks. It was a no brainer (hopefully) saved a few quid on the Berlingo so did it.

Next I'll fit a tow bar, roof rails and a few more DC power sockets.

No worries, its just a Berlingo in disguise Smile
I wanted a Berlingo but ended up getting a Partner.

On a sidenote; I think Vauxhall (or Opel as its called here) made a good call switching to PSA.
I never liked the previous Fiat Doblo. My new Doblo drove worse then the Bipper I had before that :/

I've always hated fiat, total rubbish. At least now Vauxhall is owned outright by PSA.

I helped my bro yesterday (mainly as a chauffeur/2nd opinion for viewings) buy a speedily needed replacement for his dead Zafira yesterday (I did try to steer him towards a C4GP but failed - not many good ones in/near Shrewsbury), and as we came back from the test drive a lady was arriving in a Dispatch minibus, to view the same car as us (unfortunately for her we bought it).

I was quite taken by her Dispatch and did a bit of online goggling now I'm back home in Essex. That also led me to the C8/Ulysse/807 which seems to be a fat Berlingo... or am I being unfair?

As I'll be in the market for a van in about a year's time (moving, hopefully, to Salop) I may go for a Dispatch. I know this isn't the place to ask, and I could probably find out from ad photos if I was familiar with the Dispatch bodies, but does anyone know whether Dispatch vans have bolt holes in the rear floor allowing a second row of seats to be put in, crew cab style?

If it's the same floorpan as the 807 then it must have? Citroen are famous for reusing floorpans

That looks really nice, much better than a Fiat Doblo, but of course not as good as a Berlingo  Tongue

I have a 2011 Expert Tepee (with windows) which for sure has the second row of seats, there must be a Dispatch equivalent. With tinted windows there's not really any way to see what's inside so it's like a van with a bit more comfort & no van speed restrictions.

I like the new Berlingo & it's sister models like the Vauxhall, are the Vauxhall versions made in Luton?
