Sound deadening pads

I came across a post here a while back about putting sound deadening pads on the panels inside the back of their van? Anyone have any info on this and what would be the best product to use?

I used sticky back closed-cell foam rubber from eBay. Pretty cheap, and works really well. Stay with 6-10mm as the thicker stuff is too thick.

I used Noico 80mil. It pretty good, quite heavy material and it does a good job. A bit difficult to spread it with a flattening tool when the temperature is low, I did it at ~10C, just takes more time and effort.
