Power steering, heavy

If anyone can suggest why my power steering might be heavy?

Having just fitted a new Com 2000 unit and re-fitted the steering wheel, the power steering is noticably heavy, not totally non-power, but certainly different to pre-new Com 2000 unit.

Any help or suggestions appreciated!
