Hey all,
Trying to fix RHS drivers window, it was jammed in the up position with half a broomstick!
This was previously an electric window. I bought a regulator for 18 quid from ebay thinking I could just chuck a manual winder on it.
But no, the mechanism is set back, off centre and seems to have a strange gear on it.
I've fitted the regulator so I feel a bit more confident that the window won't suddenly fall down mid motorway on me.
Am I being an idiot thinking I can convert an electric regulator to manual? It does seem very stiff.
I can't source a motor for it or cog that I could do a botch job on to try and make it manual.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
