For some unknown reason our 2007 berlingo is factory fitted with a tape deck ,No problem for me as I spent my teens listening to and recording John Peel sessions and acdc on to tapes and still have them ,but for Zena this was a major problem I considered replacing the tape deck for a CD but the second hand price is a bit high for a citroen unit and it would need coding to the vin of the car,I did not want to replace the radio with a normal one as I like the controls on the stalks and the built in display,so I thought I would try one of these

Bluetooth Car MP3 Player FM Modulator FOR USB/SD/MMC Card
it cost £9.86 from ebay
you will also need an sd memory card or a usb stick
I tested it with a 4g usb stick and a 2g mem card both where ok
it also works with a bluetooth mobile allowing you to use it as a speakerphone
It transmits to the FM radio so you can use the controls on the stalks
plus the auto volume works it also remembers the last track when turned off so you do not get the same songs over and over
The sound quality is good but not quite up to cd quality it also comes with a lead so you can plug in an ipod and a remote it is very discreet when plugged in so should not attract any thieves
