It should say when joining the Bluetooth for the first time, "allow to share contacts?" and then "Download phonebook?" or something similar. It's been a couple of years since I had the Citroen OEM stereo.
Once you answer yes, it downloads your contacts. Need to remain connected for a few minutes so it can complete, or disconnect and delete the phone and pair again from the start, watch for questions on the phone screen. Answer yes to all questions.
.
Ahh ok.
I think I pressed the yes, but was not connected for a longer time…
I try it tomorrow.
Thanks.
Ahhmm, yes, but if I press “Yes”, during the calling it shows the name on the display, as it in the phonebook.
Anyway, I try it as you sad.
Thanks.
I did today, but nothing changed..
but there is an option, still inactive.

That I'm not sure about, but my last van had the Bluetooth and the upgraded LCD, and the current one has neither. I wonder if they are needed as a pair. Something I hadn't considered mate. Probably not, since they are both on the Comfort CAN bus, and exchange messages so should still work, one without the other.
I have a device I made which pretends to be the original stereo and speaks CAN bus to the BSI to enable me to set the clock using my phone, yet the stereo doesn't exist so the system doesn't care that the device "sending" the messages is not actually there, it acts on them anyway.
I think the RD45 stereo will work fine as it is.

Yes. The type C display is essential. They're literally only £30 odd

Thanks for confirming.
I made a little BT unit to plug into the aux connector that I added to the RD4. It works fine but every now & then I think about getting a built in BT & USB radio, this thread jogged my memory.
