We all say that we're not doing it any more then we put it somewhere else, they make an arse of it and charge us a fortune and we all say, never again, I'm doing it myself next time.
Or is that just me?

Hmmm you could be right - always depends on urgency, cost, difficulty or all three! I'm lucky I have a local garage who are superb. For those jobs that need a ramp or a just bloody hard then they're my go to. Anything I can do myself, I usually do, cursing as I go but then I forget quickly how rotten it was, once it's working again.
