Radio Reboot Issues Back Again
#21
Hi all. Mine's a 15 reg BlueHdi Multispace XTR. The screen started shutting down and losing radio every few minutes. It would reboot showing 12B then restore to the station I was listening to.......... (usually BBC radio 4). The volume would be lower but otherwise things would be back to normal.
I tried "Restore factory settings" to no avail.
Has anyone tried disconnecting the battery? I think I'll see what my local dealership offers first.
As to areas affected; I drove Bristol to Great Yarmouth and back the other day........ 550 miles and it did it's shut down thing most of the time I think. I didn't have the radio on all the way, but I noticed the screen shutting down.

I tuned radio away from BBC stations to Classic FM and reset clock. Everything is working fine with no dropout. So is it the BBC who have switched us all off?
My dealer has now admitted to being aware of the problem and offered me an update for £68. I have seen on other forums that many Citroen and Peugeot models are affected. Is it right that thousands or tens of thousands of car owners will have to fork out for this when presumably someone, somewhere could simply flick a switch and get us all up and running again.
