Help needed please

Hi, I've got a berlingo 54 plate van 2 litre and I'm having problems with it and hopefully one of you clever people will be able to give me some advice :0)

When I pull away my foot has to be flat to the floor and it pulls away slowly - it will get up to a max speed of 65 mph but it takes a while.  Its never
been a speed freak but it now is just so slow and its making my leg hurt - and I'm old boy lol - I'm having to keep my foot flat to the floor most of
the time.   

Any advice gratefully accepted!

How fast will the engine rev, does it get above 3000?
Chances are that you have no boost, have a search & read about disconnecting the MAF to see if it goes better.

I don't believe you - your dial must have been reading 165mph!! Maybe try some bifocals?

I got mine up to 100 on the M25 once, and kept it there until two bikers caught up with me but didn't overtake.... that was a VERY close shave! Before 'smart' motorways of course.

I am not entirely familiar with the 2L, but by the sound of it it could well be turbo solenoid or turbo wastegate. Maybe I am talking rubbish here, the 2L might not have a wastegate.
If I unplug the turbo wastegate vacuum line on my 1.6HDi, you get the same symptoms as yours.
