Hi all,
My other car (more precisely my wife's car) is a Peugeot 307 (2008) and she has lost the locking key for the alloy wheels. It's a problem, I know. The locking bolt is the old-type with the centre protruding thing that breaks and 4 locking pin holes.
Does anyone know how to get these off. I can of course buy one of these Dynomec tools, but they seem rather expensive. I have put a photo of the locking bolt in case someone has done these before.
Many thanks indeed for any advice.

Yes thanks, I have seen that one, but it will take me forever to do all 4 and who knows how many drill bits the hardened steel will break. I will see if I can buy a somewhat cheaper Dynomec set.

Well yes, I phoned 3 different people. Two said they only worked in Birmingham, the third one said I will phone back and never phoned back, although quoted £130 (£80 for the bolts and £50 call out) for all 4 and I was happy with the price.
If I google wheel nut remover, it seems all companies have the same phone number and say they cover my area, but when you phone they do not.

What about buying a cheap set of PSA locking bolts with the key on eBay mate: (may have to check they are the same or grind one pin off)

I thought about that and managed to count all available keys on ebay, they were 37 different combinations up for sale at the time when I looked. Most will probably be off by a fraction of a mm. By the look at the photos, some seemed like good candidates. Each one was ~£25.
I phoned a mobile tyre company that said will do it for £90 for all 4. I think it will be cheaper than either trying with approximate key or buying the expensive Dynomec set. I will see if they can do it.

My mate gets a few cars in his garage lost the wheel locking key he normally welds a bolt to the bolt on the car then just unscrews it. Cheep option if you got welder or he does charge good money to do it some are easy some are a real pain

The set I sent you the link for are the proper PSA ones identical to mine and should be, yours. A lot on there with different patterns are not genuine despite it saying Citroen/Peugeot....
Only the mushroom head with three circular cutouts like yours, and mine, and the link I sent, are OEM. Those ones should work and are less than £20 without someone trying to butcher them off for £90.

I took a look at the bolts linked by Zion and see that there's a serial number on the key. Do Peugeot perhaps have a note of the key linked to the VIN?
