Hi
Just joined the forum as I wonder if anyone can assist in identifying cause of a severe wind noise problem on a 2012 Berlingo Multispace .
Started to notice the problem after the Berlingo’s last full service and aircon re-gas around June this year.
Wind rush noise appears to be coming from front bulkhead area.
First only really noticed this when it was raining / poor weather / windy. Not really noticeable during fine weather.
Now we are in the winter months it appears to be present at all speeds above about 30 – 40 mph.
I have tapped up the windscreen surround to see if that eliminated the noise (read somewhere that replacement windscreens can sometimes develop a leak (i.e. around adhesive joint) if fitted outside in inclement weather conditions - I had a replacement screen fitted in the drive about two years ago).
There is no evidence of damp (i.e. water leak) inside the vehicle.
Local garage that did the service (good bunch of guys) had a go at identifying the problem and without prompting said they thought it was from the bulkhead area, but although they could hear the wind noise, could not find anything wrong
Any suggestions / ideas on how to resolve would be appreciated.
