Having towed last year with our new Berlingo Multispace 110XTR I was wanting to fit rear spring assisters to the rear springs especially the rubber blocks which fit between the coils has anybody any experience of fitting above items

The use of these might affect the operation/performance of the load sensing valve which operates on the rear axle. Previously on my Pug306 I used coiled spring assisterswhich fitted between the chassis and the rubber bump stop on the suspension. Don't know if these are available for the Berlingo. They were made by a Dutch firm called MAD.

Why do you think you need them? bear in mind that towbar download(noseweight)for earlier Berlingo3 is only 55kg but this has been raised to 70kg on later cars. I tow a 700kg caravan & I've not found the suspension too soft.

I supply and fit firestone ride-rite air suspension kits that would sort it out. You can self fit if you have a half a brain.

OK SO THESE air suspension kits, do they raise the vehical height? wil they improve the bounce [ mines a vtr]. and how much? and to fit? live in north wales, suppose my local garage could do it?
